A written request was sent with a 14-day response deadline. The deadline had to be set by the sender, because no reply time was offered by the other side.

Nothing on this page requires anything more than an answer on the substance. That is still the shortest route to the end of it.

Call recording, and what the interface promises

In the Google Phone app, the retention notice shown for call recordings does not match the deletion behaviour that actually applies — the 3-day and 30-day retention is not stated correctly in the interface.

A duration shown to a user is a statement to that user. When it is wrong, the person cannot know how long a recording of their own conversation exists.

A beta label is a stage of development, not an exemption. Danish and EU law apply to what a released interface tells its users, whichever label the release carries.
